Prayer Chain

Linked Together Through Prayer

The Prayer Chain enables parishioners to make a difference in the lives of others by making a small sacrifice of time in prayer to our Lord.  When people need prayers for themselves or for a relative or friend, they contact the Parish Office.  A call is then made to activate the Prayer Chain which is made up of 16 captains who in turn email 4 additional people.

Rosary Altar Society

Championing the Healing Power of Our Lady's Rosary

The world is full of distractions.  If you are seeking the peace and comfort of prayer along with the joy of service, you will be welcomed warmly into the Rosary Altar Society.  By meditating on the mysteries of the rosary, they become a channel of grace for us.  Rosarians benefit from the countless rosaries offered for their intentions by members throughout the world.  Becoming a Rosarian is a way of sharing the gifts of your passion and expertise in service to the community.  Praying the rosary and acts of kindness bring our members comfort and joy.

The Rosary Altar Society is devoted to Our Lady's rosary and tend to the altar of our Lord to make it a worthy table for His Eucharist.  This prayerful group meets every other month on the first Monday at 7:00 pm in Community Hall.  See the Parish Calendar for exact dates.

Saint Monica Ministry

Many of us want to share our love for Jesus and Catholicism, but do not know how to invite others to experience the joy of our faith. Or perhaps we have witnessed friends and relatives leave the Catholic church, and we are not sure how to draw them back. Inspired by the persistence of prayer on behalf of Saint Monica for the conversion of her once wayward son Saint Augustine, the Saint Monica Ministry at OLL is an empowering collective that meets and seeks the intercession of both Saint Monica and Saint Augustine to bring our loved ones closer to God through prayer. All are welcome to attend.

The group gathers every first Saturday at 10 am (unless otherwise noted) in the church, and the first meeting. The next meetings are scheduled for Saturday, April 1 and Saturday, May 13
