What if I can't Make it to Mass DUE TO DANGEROUS WEATHER?
Please know that Mass will always be celebrated,
however you are not obligated to risk your life or wellness to attend.
Unsafe travel conditions are an example of a grave cause
that would excuse a person from the Sunday obligation.
When you cannot attend Mass, here are some examples of things you can do.
Find a Catholic Mass online, for example at: www.ewtn.com
Find the readings of the day: bible.usccb.org/daily-bible-reading
Say the prayer of “The Spiritual Communion”
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the
Most Blessed Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if you were already there,
and I unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
