Scholarship Recipients


Helen Omilian Memorial Rosary Altar Society Scholarship Recipients

Our Lady of Lourdes Rosary Altar Society is honored to award the Helen Omelian Memorial Scholarships of $1,000 to the following students.


Natalie DeStefano:

Natalie currently attends Immaculata High School. She will attend Princeton University in September. At OLL, she served as a teacher and mentor for our Faith Formation students and was a Christmas carol leader at Mirota House for several years. At Immaculata, Natalie was inducted into the National Honor Societies for both academics and music. She received the President’s Volunteer Service Gold Level for two consecutive years, is an AP Scholar, and is on the IHS Pillar Leadership Board. Natalie is the Drum Major of the IHS Marching Band.


Anne Johnson:

Anne is currently completing her first year at Xavier University and will be entering her sophomore year in September. She was an altar server at OLL

for several years. Anne served as a retreat leader at Immaculata High and received the 2025 President’s Volunteer Service Award. She is currently a cadet in the Xavier Army ROTC. She is also a member of Life After Sunday, a Catholic student club, and volunteers at GIFT Sunday

School. She is a mentor with the Exceptional Students Assembly/Project and will be a board member next year.


Delaney Ramsden:

Delaney currently attends Somerville High School and will attend Rutger’s University in the fall. At OLL she served as an altar server for five years,

assisted in painting the Faith Formation classrooms, volunteered for the blood drives for several years and assisted with the Easter Vigil preparations.

Delaney is President of the Somerville High School Choir Program where she has been an active member during the past four years. She has

received awards in several chorus competitions throughout the state. Delaney also served as a camp counselor and plays field hockey for

Somerville High School.


Knights of Columbus Council #6930 Collegiate Scholarship Recipients

Our Lady of Lourdes, Council 6930, Knights of Columbus, has awarded $1000 scholarships to each of the following students based on their academic achievements and their acts of faith and charity. This year's recipients are:


Dominick DeAngelo, currently Attends Immaculata High school, will be a freshman at Arcadia University studying actuarial science. His Church activities include Shepard’s meal, Starfish and campus ministry.


Kristen Johansson, is currently a third-year student at John Hopkins majoring in health care. Her church activities include Shepard’s meal, vacation Bible school, alter server. She is also a Hospital and EMT volunteer.


Katelyn Paul, is currently at Hunterdon Central High School, and will be a freshman at Rutgers pursuing a nursing degree. Church activities Shepard’s meal, Starfish, Stations of the cross, alter server and Bible school aide.


Anthony Formica, currently attends Voorhees High school and will be a freshman at Middlesex Community College. He is a member of the OLL Knight of Columbus Council and is very active with the Knights’ activities such as variety dinners and raffles.


We congratulate these outstanding young adults who represent the future of our church. Prayers go with them as they begin the next chapter in their

lives.
